Benin
While we have not yet identified an established Benin community group in Vancouver, individuals from Benin are part of the vibrant African diaspora contributing to the city’s cultural diversity. For official matters or national connections, newcomers and residents can reach out to the Embassy of Benin in Canada, located in Ottawa.

SODCAN, Solidarity Djibouti-Canada, was created in November 2019 following the initiative of certain members of the community in order to mobilize the Djiboutian diaspora of Canada to come to theaid of our compatriots who were facing torrential rains in Djibouti. It is from this surge of solidarity that SODCAN was born.
